Bidding Terms & Conditions

Buyer’s Premium: 15% (online bidders) 10% onsite.

Registration & Eligibility

For online bidders a valid credit card is required for bidding approval.

Registration name and address must match your state-issued photo ID.

Only the registered buyer may pay for and receive items.

If you are prohibited from owning firearms or do not have valid photo ID, DO NOT BID.

Firearms Eligibility

Handguns: 21+

Long guns: 18+

Ammunition: 18+

Kentucky buyers must present a valid KY photo ID.

Out-of-state buyers: Firearms must be shipped to a licensed FFL in your state. (For certain States, long guns can be picked up in person. Contact us for details)

You are responsible to know your State laws and if the firearm can be shipped to your State. If you are the winning bidder and we can't ship to your State or you can't pass a background check you are still responsible to pay for the firearm and no refunds will be offered.

Firearm Fees & Transfers

$15 transfer fee per firearm

Shipping to FFL dealers available at $15 per firearm plus actual shipping

Receiving FFL dealers may charge an additional transfer fee

NO REFUNDS if valid FFL information is not provided

No refunds if buyer is unable to pass a background check.

(Buyer is responsible for submitting FFL promptly)

Payment Terms

Accepted Payment:

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Cash, Check, Wire Transfer

Sales tax applies unless valid exemption is provided

Invoices over $2,500 must be paid by check or wire transfer

3% fee applies to all credit card payments

$18 fee for wire transfers.

Any checks at the discretion of the auction team may require a bank letter of guarantee. 

Online bidders: Payment due Monday evening following the auction and before the items leave the auction grounds.

On-site bidders: Payment due day of auction and before the items leave the auction grounds

Shipping & Pickup

Shipping is at the buyer’s expense

Firearms ship only to valid FFL dealers

Non-firearm items ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS

Buyers will receive an email/text from Shipping Saint to:

Pick up days are Monday February 2nd and Tuesday February 3rd 8:30am-4:30pm

Shipping charges are billed separately

Auction Terms

All items sell AS-IS, WHERE-IS

All sales are final

Descriptions are believed accurate but are not guaranteed

Bidder is solely responsible for determining condition

Auctioneer has sole discretion over bidding increments and disputes

Pennyrile Auction Company is not responsible for missed or unseen bids

Announcements made on auction day take precedence

Company reserves the right to refuse service or deny bidding privileges

Unpaid balances may incur a 2% monthly finance charge and collection costs.

Venue for disputes shall be the county in which Pennyrile Auction Company operates.

In the event of technical issues, the auctioneer reserves the right to resolve the matter in the seller’s best interest.
